Desk is a private tool used by its owner only.

When the owner connects an email account, Desk gets read-only access (Google's gmail.readonly permission). It reads emails about money and deadlines, such as bills, tax and payment notices, to show what is due. It never sends, deletes or changes an email.

Desk keeps a sign-in token for each connected inbox so it can read new emails. Email content is read when needed and is not stored, apart from short notes of what is due and when. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising, and Google user data is not used to train AI models.

The owner can disconnect an inbox at any time from Desk, or from their Google account's security settings. Disconnecting deletes its stored token.

Use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
